This is not a trick question. It is a question I ask myself on a pretty regular basis.
I guess you might say I am a work in progress. I am not done with life or becoming. I am in the process, of being in the moment; yet, moving forward to bring my skills and talents to new heights. Sounds lofty, doesn’t it? Seriously, I am not boasting. I truly believe that we grow, we become… if we allow
ourselves to seek new possibilities, to venture into new territories; otherwise, I believe we become stagnant. And, becoming is quite active, full of energy, new life emerges, and we are open to experiences that may never have come our way if we had not been receptive.
Some of you know me; others do not. My personal and professional
background has been marred by some tragic but repaired by joyous moments in my life.I used to wonder why certain things happened; but now I know why they did. And, I am happy that they were a part of my life because today I am richer for it. Not materially, speaking; but, I feel that all the contacts I have made, all the job experiences I have had served me in a way that are making me who I am becoming.
I know with certainty that this new phase of my becoming is as
exciting as my first career choice. I also know that it took time for me to discover who I am and who I am becoming. And, I recognize that I like helping people discover who they are becoming. Yes, it can be scary; but anything worth doing or accomplishing is a bit frightening. I know how to conquer that fear. So, if you or anyone you know wants to journey down the road of self-discovery let me know. After all, I am a life coach; and, I can help people discover their life purpose.
